Sridhar Chityala is a globally recognized leader in the financial services industry with over 40 years of experience, having held senior executive leadership roles at JPMorgan Chase (JPMC), Citi, Wachovia/Wells Fargo, and National Australia Bank. He was on the JPMC Leadership Committee and worked with the late Jimmy Lee, David Coulter, Don Layton, and Jamie Dimon. Chityala’s leadership roles at JPMorgan, Citi, Wachovia/Wells, and globally in Asia and Australia with National Australia Bank, and Commonwealth Bank have positioned him to work closely with global regulators, industry think tanks, academic institutions, and banking groups. Chityala is presently chairman and founding partner of Elevate Innovation Partners, a New York-based venture capital firm that is a collection of family offices. He is also chairman of Vedas Group, the Chityala family office. He is based in Singapore and spends time in New York and Bangalore. Through Elevate and Vedas, Chityala leads deals in technology and software firms focused on FinTech, data, and enterprise software. He works alongside his son, Shreyas Slater Chityala, investing in companies in the US, India, and Singapore. Chityala is a board member of various payment bodies and associations and is recognized as an industry expert on retail distribution, payments, and e-commerce through published articles and appearances at industry conferences. He is a co-founder of the Global Payments Council and the World E-Money Council, a board member of various payment networks and industry bodies, and is recognized as an industry expert on banking, markets, and financial innovation. Today, he hosts a daily global brief on PGurus and is featured on private TV channels. His fireside chats on markets, geopolitics, and economic matters with other global leaders are very popular. Chityala has hosted and conducted more than 450 shows and launched the “Daily Global Insights” program with a focus on geopolitics, trends in the US political landscape, global markets, and financial innovation reshaping the industry. Chityala is also the Global Council member of the prestigious Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington, DC, and serves as the founder and advisory board member of the India Economic Policy Chair at Columbia University, School of International and Public Affairs. His group has extensively invested in the next-generational technology companies in the areas of payments, ed-tech, logistics, AI, and decision sciences. They also advise the industry on applying these technologies to solve business problems.
