With extensive experience in international development and grant-making on the African continent, Vanessa Adebayo brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. She works on the IFC-Milken Institute Capital Markets Program, the World Bank-Milken Institute Public Financial Asset Management Program, and the Africa Leaders Business Council. These programs, in collaboration with over 60 partners from finance, development, and nonprofit organizations worldwide, aim to build resilient, inclusive economies for a brighter shared future. Previously, Adebayo worked in the international development sector, focusing on impactful initiatives across Africa. She has a rich background in managing and implementing projects that address key developmental challenges on the African continent, including with World Connect US, Africa’s Health Matters Foundation, and Impact Hub Lagos, among others. Adebayo holds a certificate in international business development from the University of Cambridge, a Bachelor of Science in exercise and health science from the University of Massachusetts, and a Master of Public Health from New York University’s Cross-Continental Master of Public Health Program.
