Sam Hanigan is an associate director on the Milken Institute Finance team. He focuses on projects and initiatives related to job creation, access to capital, small businesses, inclusive capitalism, FinTech, affordable housing, infrastructure development, public finance, and lifetime financial security. Hanigan also manages the day-to-day operations and logistics for many of the programs at Milken Finance.

Before joining the Milken Institute, Hanigan was a senior field representative in the California State Assembly. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor. Go Blue!
