Gaby Alvarado is an executive assistant for Milken Institute Philanthropy at the Milken Institute. Her work at the Institute is largely centered on assisting with special projects, department coordination, and supporting the philanthropy leadership. Alvarado has enjoyed a successful career as an executive assistant providing high-level support in a diversity of businesses, including construction, private equity, and nonprofit. Prior to her role, Alvarado worked in New York City in private equity with SK Capital Partners, where she supported managing partners and directors. She also lived in Sydney, Australia, and worked as an assistant at Hanson, a leader in building and construction materials. She learned about world-class technologies and service platforms. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Phoenix.
