Tanisha London
Tanisha London is a senior associate with the Milken Institute Philanthropy’s Science Philanthropy Accelerator for Research and Collaboration (SPARC) team. Her expertise in neuroscience research, grant management, and venture capital gives her a unique perspective on strategic funding that ensures innovative projects are both financially viable and empirically validated. Tanisha has studied various aspects of the brain and behavior, including mood and anxiety disorders, eating behaviors, addiction, and sensory perception. She received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Spelman College and her Doctorate in neuroscience from the University of Southern California. At Milken Institute Philanthropy, Tanisha analyzes the state of the neuroscience field and identifies opportunities where capital can have the greatest impact on driving scalable solutions to global challenges. Tanisha is based in the Washington, DC, office.
