Anindya Novyan Bakrie is an Indonesian business magnate, global investor, and prominent philanthropist. Anindya is CEO of Bakrie & Brothers, an Indonesian listed conglomerate with interests in infrastructure, electric vehicles, mining, oil & gas, power (incl. renewables and solar), property, and plantations. Known as successor to the 80-year-old Bakrie Group, one of the largest business groups growing with and for Indonesia, with 10 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with a combined market capitalization of over US$15 billion. He is the CEO of Visi Media Asia (VIVA Group), a leading integrated media convergence company in Indonesia, which owns tvOne (#1 News/Sports nationwide broadcaster), ANTV (tier 1 entertainment nationwide broadcaster), and VDVC a fast-growing digital media company. For the next growth chapter, Bakrie Group is pivoting towards EV/Electrification, Renewable Energy, and Media Digitalization, while aspiring to be net-zero Group by its centennial anniversary, also invests via his Corporate VC in 3D printing, Log-Fin tech, and data center. Anindya serves as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board (2021-2025) at Indonesia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN); the International Advocacy Caucus at B20 Indonesia which aims to deliver policy recommendations to the G20; Chairman of APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) Indonesia (appointed by two different Indonesian President); the elected Chairman of the Indonesian Aquatics Federation (PRSI). Anindya graduated from Northwestern University in 1996 and earned his MBA from Stanford GSB in 2001.
