Internationally renowned actress and producer Kristin Davis has been supporting UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, since 2014, and was announced as a Goodwill Ambassador in April 2017. In this role, Davis regularly travels to meet refugees and advocates for both political and financial support for the millions around the world who have been forced to flee their homes due to violence, conflict and persecution. Her travels have included South Africa, Kenya, Uganda, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Rwanda, and Bangladesh, among many others. Davis has also voiced her concerns to Congress regarding the Rohingya refugee crisis, highlighting the importance of UNHCR's response and addressing the need for continued support from the U.S. government. She is passionately outspoken in her support for refugees and regularly uses media and social media to highlight refugee issues and the work of UNHCR. She has also written feature pieces for leading international media outlets sharing, stories and experiences from the refugees she met and her work with UNHCR. Davis is best known in her professional career for her award-winning role as Charlotte in "Sex and the City" and in the new HBO Max series, "And Just Like That..."
