Valerie Red-Horse Mohl, of Cherokee ancestry, is the Co-Founder of Known Holdings a financial services growth platform led by Black, Indigenous, Latinx, and Asian American leaders in the finance, tech, and media industries, focused on equitable distribution of assets and the sustainable growth of New Majority fund managers, financial advisors, bankers, and entrepreneurs. She is also the CFO of East Bay Community Foundation, CEO/founder of Red-Horse Financial Group, and CEO/Founder of Red-Horse Native Productions. Red-Horse Mohl has more than 25 years of in-depth experience in the financial services, asset management, and investment banking industries and as award-winning filmmaker, she brings important documentaries to the screen for which she directs, produces, and writes. She serves as the Board Chair of the Center for Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity and teaches two courses on Entrepreneurship for Racial Equity at Stanford University. Red-Horse Mohl earned a B.A. with Cum Laude honors from UCLA; has been married since 1982 to former NFL professional Curt Mohl and they have three children.
