Erica Herzog, MD, PhD, is a pulmonologist who specializes in interstitial lung disease and pulmonary fibrosis. She also cares for patients in Yale New Haven Hospital’s medical intensive care unit.

Catherine Bonham, MD, joined UVA in 2018 as an assistant professor of pulmonary and critical care medicine and scientific director of the Interstitial Lung Disease Program. She specializes in caring for patients living with interstitial lung disease or pulmonary fibrosis, particularly those patients with sarcoidosis.

Matthew Aleshire is director on the Milken Institute’s Geo-Economics Initiative and helps to lead the work around the topics of climate change, the global financial architecture, and international political economy. Aleshire previously focused on global policy and government engagement for the Milken Institute, overseeing efforts to advance policy solutions across the Institute’s research and convenings.
