Mala Persaud is the director of communications for Milken Institute Philanthropy. A former journalist, Persaud is a mission-driven communications leader with expertise in science and health communications.

Jeff Valliere oversees the development of fully integrated, strategic initiatives that support the mission, vision, and values of the Milken Institute.

Sarah Sandler is the Chief Growth Officer and Executive Vice President at the Milken Institute and oversees fundraising strategies across Institute events and programs. She fosters strategic partnerships and develops programs to engage the Institute's top supporters from around the world, including financial institutions, multi-national corporations, leaders in heath, foundations, and philanthropists to design and implement market-based solutions to global challenges.

Martha (Marty) Mazzone is head of technology and general counsel for the Milken Institute.  Previously serving as general counsel and chief operating officer of the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream.

William (Bill) Lee is chief economist at the Milken Institute. He leads the Institute’s effort to develop collaborative policies to improve access to and the functioning of capital markets, strengthen financial stability and the soundness of financial institutions, and foster global macroeconomic, financial, and regulatory conditions to bolster job creation.

Kevin Klowden is the executive director of Milken Institute Finance. He specializes in the study of key factors that underlie the development of competitive regional economies (clusters of innovation, patterns of trade and investment, and concentration of skilled labor) and how these are influenced by public policy and, in turn, affect regional economies both globally and nationally.
