
Sabrina Spitaletta
Sabrina Spitaletta has been at the Milken Institute since 2017. She leads the work focused on the role of employers in public health and develops strategic collaborations across sectors and industries to advance whole-person health and performance at work. Spitaletta designed and created the Employer Action Exchange, a platform that advances employer priorities and insights with specific actions that impact employees, communities, and businesses. Before joining the Institute, Spitaletta was head of corporate relations and engagement at Children’s Health Fund. Her responsibilities focused on strategic goal setting, cultivating thought leadership, and collaborative opportunities to broaden the corporate community’s involvement with the Fund’s work.
Throughout her nearly 15 years at Sanofi US, Spitaletta held leadership roles with expanded scope in corporate affairs and human resources. The roles included overseeing, aligning, and harmonizing corporate responsibility priorities and strategic community investments during a time of company transformation and expansion. Additionally, she led the design and execution of employee-facing efforts involving wellness engagement, employee political action, grasstops civic engagement education, and the design and implementation of organizational employee performance management and development systems, as well as phased education. She began her career at Lehman Brothers and was a part of the Analyst Investment Banking program management and recruitment team. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and organizations, behavior, and management from Brown University and a master’s degree in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University.
Since 2016, she has been a member of the President’s Strategic Advisory Council for the Brown University School of Public Health and HOSA’s Future Health Professionals National Advisory Council. Spitaletta also serves on the advisory council for Creating Healthier Communities, an organization focused on creating resilient communities working with employers. As of 2023, she is a member of the Advisory Council for Project Healthy Minds.
