Michelle Stevenson
Michelle Stevenson is an accomplished global marketing leader, bringing more than 25 years of experience to her role as executive director, marketing and communications at the Milken Institute, where she oversees earned media, social media, the website, brand and design, publishing, thought leadership, and all marketing efforts. With a cultural marketing mindset, Stevenson recently oversaw the rebuild of milkeninstitute.org, the launch of the Institute’s first home-grown ad campaign, an expansion of media coverage into international markets, and leads all marketing and communications efforts for the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream. Stevenson is a leading global voice on marketing and media, participating on or leading panels from Beverly Hills to Cannes to Singapore.
Stevenson spent more than a decade at the helm of national and international communications firms leading award-winning campaigns including Senior Vice President at FleishmanHillard (“Oprah’s Ultimate Australian Adventure”), Managing Director at Burson-Marsteller (Behr Paints and Travel Nevada), and Executive Vice President at HL Group (“St. John in Conversation with…”). Throughout 2019, Michelle led The Giving Keys, a social impact jewelry company and accessories brand, as COO and CMO. A frequent guest lecturer, Michelle served as co-instructor for a UCLA Extension Course on Influencer Marketing. She is a founding member of Chief, the organization for professional women, and is a graduate of Northwestern University.
